My Story

Biography

Growing up between London, the United States, New Zealand, and Australia gave me an early sense that the world was bigger and stranger than any one place could contain — something that's stayed with me ever since.

I first found acting at school, but it was a short course at the New York Film Academy that made me take it seriously. Back in England, I started a degree at the University of Chichester before realising I wanted to be in a rehearsal room, not a lecture hall. I moved to London and trained at the Identity School of Acting and later the International School of Screen Acting, before finding that the traditional conservatoire path wasn't quite the right fit — I've always learned better through classes, workshops, and simply doing the work.

Not long after, I signed with Galloways and landed my first feature film role in Turkish Ice Cream, which took me to Istanbul for four months. It was an unlikely beginning, and I loved it.

I kept training, spending a year studying Meisner-based work at The Actors Temple — work that quietly changed the way I think about performance. Then COVID arrived and, like most of the industry, I found myself at a standstill. I used the time to go back to university, coming away with a first-class degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. The connection to acting felt natural — if acting is about mimicking human behaviour, psychology is about understanding it: the why behind the how.

After graduating, I returned to the industry and founded Inner Scene — a platform built to help actors manage the business side of their careers, so they can spend less time on admin and more time focused on the craft. It grew out of my own frustration with how scattered everything felt, and the realisation that most actors face the same problem.

This past year has been a busy one. I picked up a role in the latest Mission: Impossible, starred as the lead in a thriller feature that filmed in Romania, and played King Edward IV in A Taste of Loyalty — an adaptation of Matthew Lewis' novel.

Beyond the Screen

Outside of acting, I train regularly with a focus on calisthenics and kettlebells, and I've recently started writing — currently developing my first pilot. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me at a live gig, cooking up a storm, or somewhere I haven't been before.
